Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. We do not transfer, process, share, or sell your personal information to unaffiliated third parties, unless the information is to be used for the business purposes of QuidPro, its promotion, or is required by law, court order, a governmental agency, or to enforce our Terms of Service.

• Your email address, for sign-in and receipts.
• Your listings, purchases, ratings, and reports.
• Documents submitted to verify enrollment (e.g. a student dashboard screenshot or redacted transcript). These are visible only to our review team and are never shown publicly.
• For sellers, payout details collected and held by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your bank account or card numbers.

We use this information to operate the marketplace: authenticate sign-ins, process purchases and payouts, verify seller enrollment, display seller storefronts, and enforce our content policy. We don't run third-party analytics or ad-tracking on QuidPro, and we don't use your data for advertising.

QuidPro uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

• Stripe: payment processing and seller payouts.
• Resend: sending sign-in and transactional email.
• Neon and Vercel: database and application hosting.

These providers process data only as needed to perform their service for us. We don't sell your personal data to anyone.

We keep account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. To request deletion of your account or personal data, email us at admin@quidpromarket.com.

Only your seller handle is shown publicly on outline listings and storefronts, never your real name or email.

If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you additional rights over your personal information. Here's how QuidPro handles them.

In the past 12 months, we've collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (your email address), commercial information (your listings and purchases), and, for sellers, financial and education-related information (payout details held by Stripe, and enrollment-verification documents). We collect this directly from you and, for payout status, from Stripe.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and have not done so in the past 12 months.

You have the right to:

• Know what personal information we've collected about you and why.
• Request a copy of your personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, though as noted above, we don't do this.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email admin@quidpromarket.com from the address on your account (or have an authorized agent contact us with proof of your authorization). We may ask a few questions to verify it's really you before acting on the request, and we'll respond within 45 days as required by law.

QuidPro is intended for law students and is not directed at children under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
